“ Highly recommend this restaurant after my first time dining in today. Authentic, flavorful and delicious. All of the spicy hot sauce that came with most of our entrees were the perfect dipping sauce. I'll definitely be a returning customer. ”
“ Stopped by one evening to give this place a try and ordered the Thai boat noodle, Lao sausage, and an iced coffee. Everything was delicious! Definitely like this spot. The service was excellent, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. While the food was flavorful and definitely hit the spot, a couple of small details kept me from giving a full 5-star rating. This may be personal preference, but the Thai boat noodle soup lacked the slight sweetness that it's known to have. Additionally, the Lao sausage I ordered was actually Hmong sausage. Not sure if this was a mix-up, but either way, it was still tasty. Overall, I was excited to try this place and happy to say I'll definitely be returning whenever I'm in the area! ”
“ Our to go to for Thai food. We've dined in this place for a couple of years now. New owner greeted us a few times and he is awesome. I would highly recommend this place if you're craving for Thai food. Good customer service. I love the Thai boat noodle with crispy pork belly (customer has to request for crispy pork belly), khao soy noodle soup, raw beef larb, papaya, nam khao (yumm!), fried rice, fried chicken wings, fried quails, Thai tea, & 3 colors drink (dessert drink). Food was fresh. I I like how all the seats are not too close to each other. I also like to watch the Thai music videos that were played on the screen TV inside the restaurant as well. ”
“ Came by here to try it over the weekend. This is a mom and pop shop. So expect to wait a bit for seating. They do their best with service so can appreciate that. You may need to ring the bell to get their attention. Tried a few dishes Boat noodle - it's good. Not the best I've had but it's good. It's piping hot which is great. But it doesn't quite have that sweet aftertaste that most boat noodles do. Larb - good. Spice 4 is pretty spicy. Bitter like I like it. Pad Thai - spice 3. It's pretty good. No complaints. They also don't overcook the noodle so even though I saved some for later. The noodles never got sticky. Crab rangoons - good Shrimp rolls - kinda plain like most places. Could use any sort of seasoning to add flavor. All in all. It's a good place. Parking can be rough at times. But worth a shot if in the area ”
“ My husband and I had tried this place twice now because everything we ordered was so delicious! First visit we had the Lao style papaya, boat noodle, and ka soy. Only downside was I wish the papaya salad was bigger serving for the price you pay. My husband liked the boat noodle but said the ka soy was much better! Our second visit we had the ka soy again, the special platter, and panang curry and ofc the Lao style papaya salad. Again, everything was delicious. No complaints. Service was great as well. Friendly and we got our food pretty quick. ”
“ A group of us came here for lunch. When I sat down, I saw a sign posted on the wall stating there is only one cook. If you're on a time crunch, then you'll have to reconsider eating here. After spotting nam khao on the menu, I knew I had to get it. The portion was quite big. I liked it overall, but wish the rice was a bit crispier. Be careful with the spice levels. The others at the table said their food was quite spicy even though they ordered it to be mild. I'll have come back and try the beef larb and boat noodles next time! ”
“ 8/25/2024 - Bangkok Thai restaurant. Address is 6840 65th St, Ste 130, Sacramento, CA 95828. The Kow Soi was ok. But the crab Rangoon was frigging good. Thin, perfectly crispy and just the right amount of filing inside. Restaurant is tiny, but clean. Bathroom was clean too. Plenty of parking when we arrive. Parking is free. Our server was very nice. We will definitely go here again. ”
“ I usually don't leave a review until going to an establishment at least 2x, but I'll leave a review since it's been a while. I would rate this place a 3.5 overall, but will round up since the staff were really nice and apologetic. We went here on a Thursday evening for dinner around 7 pm. The inside has about 10 tables and all tables were filled. So our wait for a table ended up being about 15 minutes since a few tables were done and left during our wait. The service was nice, but really slow as other reviewers stated. I know it was packed, but everything seemed to take 2x as long as other restaurants when they are busy. From the time we were seated to when we got our food, it was about 1 hour. The staff were trying hard to keep up so I commend them for handling all tables. It took at least 20 minutes just to get water, so if you are starving, I would not choose this restaurant. For the food itself, I would say it's decent. The boat noodle was really good, but everything else we ordered was average- above average. The drunken noodle was too bland for me and tasted way spicier than the "mild" we requested, and the Yum woon sen was okay. I liked the pad Thai, the dish I ordered, but it was a bit to saucy. My Thai tea was good as well. The three colored fried fish was also decent, but I think I prefer getting it fried at sf market and eating it at home. I took away 1 star for the following: everyone at my table ordered boat noodles and another dish to go with it. I was the only one who did not get boat noodles. But my pad Thai dish did not come out until every other dish was brought out. I ended up waiting at least 15 minutes for my dish while everyone else at my table ate their food after a 1 hour wait. I think common sense would've been to bring out my dish after everyone received their boat noodles. Then bring out everyone's secondary dishes. We ordered about 8-9 dishes total. And luckily, everyone shared some of their food with me so I was not left watching them eat. The wait time was another reason for the 4 star. It was abnormally long. It's great they were busy, but I think better preparation can cut the wait time down to half. Overall, 3-3.5 stars would be my rating. But I'll round up to 4 stars for the service and decent food. I don't know if I'll be back, but if I do, it'll probably be off peak hours. ”
